Photoshop Retouching Course - Enhancing Eyes

Welcome to the first tutorials. We are going to get started on enhancing eyes. Over the next eight eye tutorials we are going to learn techniques to brighten, darken, sharpen eyes plus we will be getting into whitening eyes.

In this tutorial we are going to learn a technique on how to enhance eyes by using a blend mode of screen. First we will select the eyes and you can do this by using anyone of the selection tools but we will use the quick mask. All we do is paint around the eye so we can make a selection. Next we create a new layer and then change that blend mode to screen, and lastly we add an inverted mask and bring back the screen color. Let me know how you get on or if you get stuck.
